Happy New Year from the Ruby Bennett Studios!

My latest recording project is in the works.

Last year's successful recordings at the Wally Sound have inspired me to continue recording in a casual, stripped - down way
- for the shear joy of singing and sharing my favorite songs!

So, expect to hear anything from a capella songs sung while I'm doing the dishes, jam sessions with friends, duets with my brother, high lonesome harmonies, dirty blues, night club sit-ins
- whatever I'm up to, you'll get to hear!

The Blasters are one of my most favorite bands and they've had a MAJOR influence on me and the music that I perform...it was a pleasure to share the stage with them.

Her raw, sensual, contralto adds an authentic, down and dirty, juke joint greasyness to the best in early rhythm and blues tunes.
